Job Description:


  • The purpose of this role is to provide communication, engagement and project delivery support to the Engagement. Principals for the Information Management (IM) and Supply Chain (SC) disciplines in delivering their strategy and objectives.

Your duties will be:


  • Advise Principal Engagement Partners across the Information Management and Supply Chain disciplines to deliver communications excellence in support of business objectives for discipline and programme leadership teams
  • Assess and refine communications and engagement strategies and plans for discipline / key programmes
  • Refine and / or commission engaging content as per strategic plans / narrative
  • Advise on communication in discipline channels (managing channels where required), optimising the use of Group communication channels
  • Assess and measure impact
  • Facilitate implementation of wider discipline activities e.g., codification of best practice; rollout of global communications campaigns in Information Management / Supply Chain; provision of support to other functions / disciplines as required; Uphold / implement / share Group Policies, standards and best practice e.g., Brand, Disclosure & Media policy

Qualifications:


Experience:


  • Understanding of common tools and techniques for stakeholder identification & analysis, communications planning and change management & change communications
  • Understanding of factors that need to be considered and applied when communicating across cultures and geographies
  • Understanding of digital media, channels and production
  • Understanding of the mining industry or engineering / projects / innovation (preferred)
  • Technical Skills:
  • Highquality written and verbal communication skills, including 'Csuite' / Executive level communications
  • Stakeholder management: Able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels and in different geographies
  • Project management: Endtoend delivery including risk management, monitoring and measurement
  • Channel management: Identifying, developing and managing internal communications channels
  • Creative ideation, from concept to delivery
  • Internal brand ambassador: championing the revised brand internally and being conscious of how our actions drive towards our common brand promise
  • Collaborative and agile: driving agile and decisive behaviour and integrating with other business units effectively and collaboratively through this change
