Teaching Assistant (ASD/SEMH)

Blackpool, Pupil Referral School

£75-£90 per day

Starting ASAP - July 2023

We are an agency seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a Pupil Referral School in Blackpool. The school specialises in educating students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.


Duties will include:

  • Assisting teachers in the classroom and providing support to individual students
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Adapting teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Working with students with ASD and SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised education plans

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students with ASD and SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student
  • A passion for working with and helping students with special needs
This is a full-time position, paying £75-£90 per day.
