Feel like being part of
To assist the Dealer Oversight Manager delivering assurance to the business through the proactive and effective monitoring of the MNF portfolio of dealers and brokers

This role will be based in our
CARDIFF office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week.

You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.


What would your day look like?

  • Ensure customers and dealers are provided with a professional, efficient and knowledgeable service at all times
  • Ensure a proactive and proportional approach is adopted in order to mitigate risk and achieve the requisite levels of oversight
  • Consider current processes and technology to develop the general oversight along with management to enhance both customer and dealer experience.
  • Understand & administer the Oversight Framework to proactively provide due diligence to the MotoNovo Dealer and Broker portfolio
  • Analyse and proactively respond to relevant Management Information, as well as information gathered from Customer/Dealer surveys and other appropriate sources
  • Provide feedback to management and departments identifying any development or training needs based on findings during oversight checks.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge and understanding of MotoNovo Finance products and services, providing accurate information and proactively promoting them where appropriate.
  • Ensure an up to date and informed knowledge of applicable regulation and legislation in relation to the role and the industry.
  • Investigate risks, conducting rootcause analysis to establish the breakdown in controls, and identify underlying Trends and Typologies. Providing feed back to the business for continuous improvement, minimizing the financial impact to the business, and recommendations for the implementation of controls to mitigate the risks identified.
  • Collaboratively own investigations into cases of Fraud, compiling evidence, submitting witness statements and presenting exhibits to the NaVCIS Vehicle Fraud Unit, Action Fraud and the Police. To liaise with Authorities to assist in the investigation of suspects and the recovery of assets. To represent the company at court as a witness to convey witness statement evidence if required. To act with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity to maintain the company reputation.

What do we expect of you?

  • Financial Services regulatory knowledge is desirable
  • Fraud or conduct or compliance experience
  • To be an analytical thinker who is able to spot trends
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and draw out key information
  • Ability to remain unbiased when investigating and making decisions
  • Able to manage conflicts and resolve quickly
  • Selfsufficient and confident to make important decisions based on thorough investigations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support report writing and engagement with Key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the FCA Our Work on Motor Finance paper which led to the development of Dealer Oversight in Motor Finance businesses.
