Earth Hub Content Coordinator - Belfast, United Kingdom - Happy Jobs NI
Description
Happy Jobs NI is working alongside Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to recruit an organised, passionate and driven Content Coordinator to join their passionate team responsible for their EARTH Hub project.
EARTH Hub Project Background
This project is a collaboration between Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful (KNIB) and Northern Ireland Environment Link (NIEL), specifically with the Education for Sustainable Development Forum (ESDF) for which NIEL provides the secretariat function.
There are two interlinked and synergistic elements to this proposal, which combined to deliver significant elements of the Strategy & Action Plan for Education for Sustainable Development.
- To significantly elevate the public profile and promotion of environmental education opportunities.
- Create a more streamlined delivery of education for sustainable development both within the eNGO sector and cross sectorally in Northern Ireland.
This project seeks to implement a number of the key areas of action identified in the Strategy & Action Plan, including: to contribute to and assist in the development of existing relationships among the ESDF members; to create opportunities for external collaborations and partnerships between ESDF members and organisations outside of the forum; to train and support educators and university level teaching students in NI to embed ESD when meeting their curriculum requirements.
