Salary:
£55,000 - £58,000 + Annual Bonus + Benefits _

(with a true 9-5 culture)

Culture Guru is recruiting for an
Engagement Manager / Specialist to be part of an ever-growing, data-capturing and data-identifying business that has been established for over 40 years, partnering with over 2 million companies and that is looking to expand their digital technology throughout the construction industry.

Engagement Manager / Specialist role will play a pivotal part in this company's future strategy plan.

In summary, the
Engagement Manager / Specialist will develop specialised strategies for implementing this company's standards in specific construction projects and will pilot new projects to digitalise archaic processes in the construction industry,


Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;

  • Support and engage with the existing Construction engagement communities e.g., Construction User groups, Partners & associations
  • Know how the company standards work, why they are useful and how they can be used to deliver business benefit
  • Acquire a deep understanding of key construction sector business priorities and strategic challenges
  • Develop proof points and case studies where company partners and members have adopted the company standards and seen genuine commercial benefits and operational efficiencies
  • Adopt a futurefacing mindset which looks to use standards to solve macro issues for the sector
  • Develop thought leadership on the power of standards for the construction sector
  • Use a structured account management process to develop and manage stakeholders
  • Publicly promoting and acting as an ambassador for the business. Advocating what they do and how they help solve industry challenges
  • Grow the brand positioning, increasing its relevance within the construction sector through relevant, targeted networking and collaboration, including with government, sector partners, other MO's. charities and industry bodies
  • Raise awareness and campaign for the adoption of the company's standards. Demonstrate active participation in programmes, public conversations, and collaborative agendas across the sector
  • Be the expert for specific construction sector areas, driving innovation and adoption of this company's standards
  • Develop strong, focused relationships with key stakeholders in specific areas of the construction sector
  • Manage and deliver specialised construction projects aligning with strategic plans
  • A good understanding of the construction value chain, key challenges and digitalisation opportunities
  • Highly focused on the understanding of stakeholder needs and developing approaches to meet their requirements (key account management)
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively within crossfunctional teams to deliver against strategic plans
  • Has been accountable for producing clear action plans and successfully delivering them
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering projects
  • Good understanding of the Building Safety Act and other relevant regulations in the construction industry
  • Understanding/appreciation of the company's system and standards
  • Substantial experience spent working for a contractor, distributor, manufacturer, building services industry body or professional services solutions company that supports these organisations
  • Extensive knowledge of the construction sector including partners, and trading communities and supported by a strong network of contacts
  • Fully conversant in the key trends affecting the sector and their communities
  • Highly motivated and selfaware
  • Highly collaborative, good at working within a crossfunctional matrix team
  • An innovative individual who tackles challenges with enthusiasm and commitment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to engage and communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellence strive to deliver beyond expectations
