We are looking for qualified and passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our very busy setting, where no two days are the same.

We are offering a 38 hour working week, a great salary c£25,600 depending on qualifications and experience, with loads of great benefits and career progression.

We are also offering part time roles, this includes lunch time cover, as well as any one who is looking for a career in Early Years.


The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh, at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team, our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery.

Outside we have a large, secure outdoor space including fire pit, fish pond and outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children, to enjoy fun.

As a Early Years Practitioner you will:

  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
  • Enhance the allaround daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
  • Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
  • Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the Curriculum for Excellence are met
  • Qualifications in Early Years and at least 1 years' experience of working in a Nursery
