Key Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for a Logistics Supervisor to work for a Portsmouth based company.

You will be working for a friendly business, and this is a fantastic opportunity to make the department your own.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate daily logistics activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products
Responsible for route planning and implement necessary changes to make them more efficient
Ensure all deliveries and collections are well planned and made on time
Tracking of KPI's
Oversee the maintenance and checks on all company vehicles which consist of a fleet of long wheelbase vans
Manage a small team of drivers
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve overall supply chain efficiency
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Skills:

Able to analyse logistics data and identify trends or areas for improvement
You must be strong willed and able to work calmly under pressure
Able to problem solve and rectify any issues as they arise
Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and documentation

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday 04:00-12:00, although you must be flexible.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£35,000.00 per year
