Management Accountant

Location - Manchester City Centre - on site
Salary - £40,000-50,000

Our client, a growing manufacturing business based in Manchester City Centre are looking for an experienced, qualified Management Accountant. This is a broad role with clear progression opportunities, reporting to the Finance Director. This role is fully on site and will suit someone ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with hands on, management accounts experience.


Responsibilities include:

  • Producing end to end Management Accounts for the Group
  • Main point of contact for all matters relating to invoice finance and have open dialogue with the MD
  • Produce weekly, monthly and other ad hoc financial reports and ensure that these are distributed to the relevant parties, both internally & externally, in a timely manner
  • Process reviews and improvements to adequately support the business activities
  • Assisting and advising nonfinance colleagues on a variety of financial matters
  • Ensuring that financial reconciliations are undertaken on a timely basis, as required

Skills/Qualifications:

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified
  • Previous management accounts experience
  • Earlier career background within transactional role(s) preferred, not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills
