SEN Teaching Assistant - (Learning disabilities and Autism) needed

REED Education work closely with a special educational needs (SEN) school, located just outside of Cambridge, by supply SEN Teaching Assistant's on both long-term contracts and on a permanent basis.

Starting from ASAP, the school and I are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their friendly team to support the pupils in this fast paced and modern SEN school.

Provide a bespoke education plan for each individual child

Has first class facilities available, such as, sensory rooms, soft play rooms and intervention rooms
Provides regular, ongoing and specialist training

The Role (SEN Teaching Assistant):

Supporting children on a 1:1 or small group basis
Developing each child academically, socially and emotionally
No two days will be the same
Full time hours based on school term time
Working inside and outside the classroom
Highly rewarding with huge job satisfaction

What you will need:

Experience working with special educational needs (children or adults)
A positive and enthusiastic attitude to work
Understanding that each child will require an individual approach and support plan
Good team work and communication skills
Enhanced DBS check (we can provide this)
