Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide senior change leadership and process redesign expertise to influence, drive and deliver measurable transformation across SHIP LMNS.


The post holder will lead the digital transformation activities across SHIP maternity services to realise the benefits of the SHIP Digital programme.

The post holder will manage the realisation of programme benefits, help Trusts embed the digital capabilities into maternity "business as usual" and facilitate business change to exploit these digital capabilities.

This key role raises the programme from simply delivering a digital tool to enabling transformation of maternity services as envisioned in the national Maternity Transformation Programme.


  • Be responsible for leading and ensuring demonstrable and sustainable improvements are achieved and fully delivered
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately as defined by the Programme Management Office polices and processes
  • Ensure delivery of project plans working closely with directors and senior managers and clinicians in line with the principles of good project management
  • Support the successful delivery of programme benefits across SHIP. This includes responsibility for monitoring substantial cash and clinical benefits
  • Undertake detailed service evaluation and performance monitoring at various stages of the programme and use this to support the rationale for recommending and implementing specific service improvements

To include as required:
staff and patient surveys, options appraisals, benefits assessment, risk and quality assessments, SWOT and gap analysis. Develop relevant metrics and reporting mechanisms to report on the programme's success
