We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team to work at a Primary School in Ribbleton, Preston.

The role will involve providing educational and developmental support to children aged up to 5 years old. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with both staff and parents.

As a Teaching Assistant working in Preston, your duties may include:

Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
Lead small group or individual instruction as assigned by the teacher.
Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
Help supervise students in the classroom, playground, cafeteria, and other areas.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Assist with record keeping and other administrative tasks.
Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays.
Assist with setting up and tidying up the classroom each day.
Supervise students on field trips and other schoolsponsored activities.
Provide individual attention to students who need extra help

The requirements for this role are:

GCSE English & Maths
Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
Experience working with children
Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
Possess strong organizational, communication and problemsolving skills
Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
