We are looking for an experienced and motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to work in a nursery class at School located in South Shore, Blackpool.

We are looking for a committed individual who has a passion for working with young children and has previous experience of working in a primary school or nursery setting.

This is a full-time position until the end of the academic year.

As a Teaching Assistant working, your duties may include:

Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation.
Lead small group or individual instruction as assigned by the teacher.
Provide additional support to students who need extra help.
Help supervise students in the classroom, playground, cafeteria, and other areas.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
Assist with record keeping and other administrative tasks.
Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays.
Assist with setting up and tidying up the classroom each day.
Supervise students on field trips and other schoolsponsored activities.
Provide individual attention to students who need extra help

The requirements for this role are:

GCSE English & Maths
Preferably qualified to an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare
Experience working with children
Ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
Possess strong organizational, communication and problemsolving skills
Understanding of classroom procedures and policies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
