Warehouse Operator, Bristol, £22,822.00
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to deal with stock stored within the facility.

Daily tasks will include moving stock both with MHE and by hand, Operating machinery such as Guillotines and packing to the required standards.

The ideal person will have previous experience in this type of role.


Duties:


  • Work as part of a team and as an individual to ensure stock is sorted in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Move stock around the facility safely using both MHE and by hand in line with your qualifications and training.
  • Ensure all company safety standards are maintained throughout your working day in line with our Health and Safety Policies.
  • Pick and Pack Material in line with customer requirements ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times and any quality issues are reported straight away.
  • Adhere to process at all times ensuring an accurate output in line with sales order to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work safely and efficiently at all times.
  • Operate any Machinery you are requested to do so in line with your qualifications and training.
  • Report any safety issues or vehicle Defects immediately to your supervisor.
  • Maintained KPIs in line with Business requirements.
  • Assist with 5s and general Housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment is kept at all times.
  • Operate a Guillotine when requested to do so and fully trained.
  • Cover other roles within the warehouse should the business have any unplanned absence or require holiday cover.
  • Assist and support with the business annual stock take.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork in line with customer and business requirements.
  • Conduct hardness and conductivity testing when required.
  • Conduct XFR testing when required.

Receiving Coordinator, Bristol, £22,822.00
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will mainly be responsible for the receipt and dispatch of goods.


Receipt Duties:


  • Offloading vehicles ensuring safety measures are observed.
  • Ensuring relevant paperwork is present and corresponds with goods before unloading.
  • Quarantine of goods waiting booking in.
  • All receipts to be measured and inspected for damage or corrosion report any discrepancies.
  • Check idents correspond with mill certificates.
  • Locate material and note pack numbers.
  • Book received goods onto the system.
  • Print tag location cards and attach to goods.
  • Scan completed paperwork onto the system.
  • File completed paperwork.

Dispatch Duties:


  • Loading vehicles ensuring safety measures are observed.
  • Locating finished products from goods out area.
  • Ensuring BOL corresponds with goods being dispatched.
  • Ensuring quantities are correct.
  • Ensuring BOL'S are correctly signed off and stamped accordingly.

General Duties:


  • Performing daily housekeeping of work area.
  • Operation of forklift trucks.
  • Maintaining daily forklift checks.
  • Adherence to health and safety policy.
  • Assisting in cycle counts and annual stock take.
  • General warehouse duties if required.

Health Safety and Environment - Both Positions:

  • Ensure you have read the Company's health and safety policies and procedures and observe them at all times.
  • Reporting any accidents or near misses immediately to your manager and record them in the accident book.
  • Ensure your workplace is kept tidy and any hazards are eliminated or reported to your line manager.
  • Always wear appropriate protective clothing whilst on site.
  • Attends all health and safety training as required by the Company.
