As the GRAHAM business continues to grow and develop, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to assist the project delivery team on our South Bank Quay site, located within the Teesworks development which is just off the A66 in Middlesbrough.


The individual will be based within the project offices reception cabin on site and as such will be the first point of contact for those arriving on the project.


The Administrator will:

  • Provide clerical support to the project team, including assisting with the production of reports and documents to a suitable standard
- word processing, and development of handover documentation as produced by site team
- photocopying

  • Scanning & filing all paper documents onto Sharepoint
  • Printing and maintaining drawings to ensure they are up to date.
  • Collating reports and printing for the meetings
  • Updating all notice boards within the site and compound
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of filing and administrative systems
  • Collating Goods Received Notices and submitting to accounts for processing
  • Take and record messages/minutes accurately.
  • Deal with incoming and preparation of outgoing mail.
  • Assist with compilation and filing of site induction paperwork
  • Prepare and issue timesheets based on information available from an online portal which records times on/off site for all personnel.
  • Assist with organisation of volunteering events and engagement with the local community to help in achieving GRAHAM's social value targets for the project.
  • Maintain drawing folders and registers on site, ensuring that all documents are current.
  • Carry out any other duties as are necessary within the scope and purpose of the job as requested by the Site Management.

Essential

  • Demonstrate a strong desire for the role
  • Demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent telephone manner, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

  • Knowledge and/or Experience of the Construction Industry.
  • Document control experience
  • NVQ Administration Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Word Processing Level 2, or 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven administrative experience in a busy, pressurised environment.
  • Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same
  • CSR card
