The Future Bright project is seeking a Career Progression Coach who will be responsible for working with individuals, helping them achieve their full potential by assisting participants into a new career, training or education.
The average person in the UK spends around 3,507 full days in work - Future Brights' aim is to make sure those days make the residents we support feel happy and fulfilled.
By joining the team as a career progression coach you will be responsible for a caseload of participants working with them for 3 to 6 months to:
- Support your participants to create a career action plan
- Explore career progression opportunities with your participants
- Help to build confidence and motivation of your participants
- Provide information and advice on other services
- Signpost to specialist support including training, money, benefits, counselling and selfemployed business support

How do I apply?
**For permanent Bristol City Council employees, this post will be a secondment.
For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
If you are currently a casual worker or a member of an employment agency (currently working with Bristol City Council) this post will be a fixed term contract.
