Title:
HGV Night Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver

Responsibilities of the Class 2 Refuse Driver:

  • Operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle, collecting bins.
  • Perform/complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
  • Assisting with loading bins onto the truck when appropriate and safe.
  • Maintain adherence to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:

  • Class 2 licence
  • Valid CPC and Digicard
  • Minimum of 2 years class 2 driving experience
  • Refuse experience preferred, not required.
  • Must have a clean licence
  • Verifiable references

Hourly Rates and Times:
- £15 per hour through umbrella

  • 0400 until run complete
  • Monday to Friday
