Description

Our client is looking for a mechanically biased Engineering technician to join their family business at their York site in Melbourne.

Your role:

Deliver preventative, corrective and reactive support for the operations team.
Ensure all aspects of the site are up and running at all times.
Make sure all manufacturing assets are running efficiently and reliably.
Identify potential failures and create corrective or preventative tasks, including the judgement of time and parts needed.
Be the first point of contact in the event of machine or asset failure to make sure problems are resolved quickly and correctly
Be an effective communicator
Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification
Be mechanically biased
Have minimum of 3 years in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
