Description

We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK's largest Civil Engineering companies.

They are looking to strengthen the bid team to oversee capital works projects and framework contracts with values in excess of £50M.

As Bid Writer, this role can offer long term career security whilst working with an experienced team of professionals._

As Bid Writer, you will be responsible for producing, reviewing and completing of high quality bids demonstrating the companies expertise in the industry, whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement
Delivering completed bids within agreed deadlines
Working closely with various departments including Commercial, Operations and Health & Safety to ensure tailored responses are provided
As Bid Writer you will be responsible for rewriting and reworking existing prewritten content where relevant
Responsible for researching areas of the business to support the production of bids and for ensuring compliance
You will be responsible for writing and compiling responses for tenders
Monitoring various portals for potential opportunities and the distribution of information to management

_Requirements:
_

You should ideally be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Business, English or Journalism
Previous experience producing, reviewing and completing of high quality bids in the Civil Engineering or Construction industry
Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to provide accurate responses to prequalification questions
You should have excellent communication skills
