PAYROLL OFFICER.

REED is delighted to be supporting our client with the recruitment of a PAYROLL OFFICER for their business located in Coventry.

The position of PAYROLL OFFICER will be responsible for the full cycle of a monthly payroll for approximately 250 employees.

We are seeking a payroller who has experience of SAGE PAYROLL and can commit to working PART-TIME 32 hours per week.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Complete and finalise the payroll for all staff on the nonDirectors payroll monthly.
  • Submit and liaise with HM Revenue & Customs (EPS, FPS etc.)
  • Assist with End of Year returns (P60, P35's etc)
  • Maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made on a timely basis.
  • Administer monthly & End of Year Pension calculations with submissions to Pension providers.
  • Maintain up to date Overtime / Absence / Holiday records for all employees.
  • Administer the setup of new employees and leavers.
  • Submission to HMRC gateway and logging onto Company PAYE to retrieve latest Tax Code changes.
  • Annual checking of online Driving Licences.
  • CSA template completion by the administrator.
  • Once the Timekeeping Software has been installed training will be required for reporting purposes.
This role would suit PAYROLLERS who have experience with SAGE payroll, excellent written, numerical and communication skills. In addition, you will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, accurate attention to detail & strong organisational skills.
