Knowledge/skills:

  • 15+ years of relevant senior experience across one or more of the following areas; direct investing and investment decision making, portfolio management, financial trading, investment risk management.
  • This experience would be gained while servicing/supporting institutional investors at an Asset Owner/Investor, Funds Management Organisation, Banking/Broking/Consulting business within the financial services industry
  • A global perspective is critical, and ideally has been enhanced with international experience working in a distributed leadership environment with matrix reporting across two or more geographies where the firm undertakes investment activity.
  • Curiosity and an inquisitive mind set is essential.
  • Demonstrated inclusive leadership and mentoring
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance, as well as work effectively with other teams within the firm.
  • Effective time management to achieve tight deadlines while providing consistently accurate and high quality outcomes.
