Grounds and Gardens Assistant

Full-time working 40 hours per week, including some weekend work.

The salary for this role is between £21,052 and £23,779 per annum dependent upon experience and qualifications.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, with a keen interest in gardening.


In addition to the main College site gardens, we also have a number of Boarding Houses that each have their own, individual gardens which require regular maintenance and development.

College also has two sports fields, along with two astro turf pitches and 18 hard courts.


The purpose of the Grounds & Gardens Assistant role is primarily to enable the maintenance and development of all gardens, and secondary the maintenance and development of amenities and playing surfaces.

You will be expected to use technical expertise and operational experience to ensure gardens are maintained in a safe, tidy and attractive state; while playing surfaces are safe, available and of a consistent quality.


As a member of the support staff you will be part of a large and friendly community of professionals who support our girls' education and experience.

You'll be joining a significant team that underpins the success of College.
