They operate in the manufacturing industry purchase from across the globe - from Australia to the US, Europe to Asia Therefore, what they require is an individual who is used to working with overseas suppliers, dealing with multi-currencies, and ideally have worked in a large-listed corporation.

Whilst this isn't a pre-requisite, it would certainly be a massive bonus as you will understand the intricacies that come from working in PL within this environment and thrive in this sort of culture

The Financial Controller is absolutely wonderful - she told me whilst she is always on hand for support, she will be happy to give you complete reign over the Purchase Ledger - make it your "baby", run it as you see fit, develop your own style with suppliersno micro-managing or breathing down your neck here.

How would I describe the culture? In one word - fun. Yes, you will need to put in the graft, yes, the workload is by no means "a breeze" however will you be rewarded? Hell yes

Team get-togethers are the real deal here, whether that's everyone downs tools at 1pm and you go for a staff lunch, a Friday evening social with all expenses paid for or a dog walk to simply blow away the cobwebs and get some fresh air
