Skilled CNC Machinist - Doncaster - Excellent salary and benefits - Days Only

Due to the continued expansion and recent investment into new machinery our client, a leading precision engineering company, are now looking to expand their established team of machinists to meet full order books and deliver quality components to a demanding and growing client base both in the UK and overseas.

The purpose of the position is to produce varied components to precision measurements and limits.

This role is being hired on a straight permanent basis on a day shift:
Working times 37.25 hours standard working week - Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 4:30 and 08.00 to 1.30 on Fridays

Pay:
c£15 per hour based on experience.

Overtime available.

Secure on site parking.

Company Nest Pension.

Holiday, 25 days + 8 Banks. (April till April)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate all types of grinding machines within the workshop.
Work from detailed technical drawings to ensure components are kept within tight tolerances.
Use of both cylindrical and surface grinding machines.
Complete and maintain PER book (practical experience record)

Experience Required:

Previous experience using grinding machinery is essential for this role.
Knowledge of various grinding machines such as internal and external, cylindrical and surface.
Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings.
Previous experience in the precision parts sector is beneficial but not essential.
Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
