Milk Education is partnered with a lovely Primary School in Little Hulton, Salford who are seeking to appoint a Year 5 Teaching Assistant to start a long term, full-time, temporary position.

Working hours - 8:15am - 3:30pm

Start date - ASAP - July 2023

The role will involve working on a full time basis within a Year 5 class working closely with an experienced Teacher.

The Role:

To work under the instruction/guidance of senior/teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes
To enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
To support the delivery of quality learning both in the classroom or outside the main teaching area to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils.
To encourage the participation of all pupils.
Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.

Required Skills & Experience of the Year 5 Teaching Assistant:

Previous and recent experience of supporting children within either a school/ private day nursery/youth centre or similar setting.
Fantastic knowledge of the Key Stage 1 phase including the delivery of phonics.
Experience in supporting children with additional needs.
Qualifications: CACHE Level 2 or 3, NNEB, Early Years or Education Degree, Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3.
