Clinical Services are recruiting a General Clinic Administrator to work within Diabetes and Endocrinology.

The post will be primarily based at Dundee House, City Hospital Campus with the flexibility to cover Diabetes reception, Queen's Medical Centre.


The role will encompass a wide range of tasks and variety, giving the post holder the opportunity to develop and learn new skills, whilst providing a valuable service to our patients.

Main duties of the job

To support the outpatient team and provide reception and administration cover across multiple specialities across Clinical Services.

Maintain accuracy of patient information

Clinic administration preparation


Deal appropriately with enquiries, by telephone and in person, from staff and the general public, seeking advice or referring elsewhere if necessary.

Photocopying/scanning as required

Distributing and opening in-coming mail timely and dealing with appropriately


Once trained to be able to competently use CareFlow and other information technology systems and participate in training programmes to develop and update personal skills to meet the needs of the department.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
