A truly exciting opportunity has arisen at Salford to appoint an Medical Personal Assistant for anaesthetic department at Salford Royal We are looking to recruit an experience, motivated individual.

You will be working within an established, highly motivated and welcoming team and will be provided with personal and professional support as well as opportunities to develop personally and professionally.

The anaesthetic department sits within Perioperative care footprint which consist of Day surgery unit, Surgical admission lounge, Per Op department, theatres and anaesthetics.


You will possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record of strong administration duties including Audio typing, diary management, minutes taking and transcription.


The post holder is expected to provide day to day secretarial and administrative services employing advanced audio typing skills with the use of medical terminology.

The post holder will assist in the organisation of the consultant's workload becoming closely involved in all aspects of the Consultant's role liaising with professional bodies where medical staff have additional roles and special interests.
