Introduction

Safran Landing Systems is the world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems and is at the forefront of contributing to safer, more sustainable aviation for current and future generations.

We design, test, manufacture and assemble landing gear used on commercial aircraft including Airbus and Boeing, and UK military aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon.

What will I be doing?

As a Machine Shop Inspector for Safran Landing Systems, you'll carry out inspection activities for parts, which will include: First Off, CMM Inspection, and Final View Inspection of internal parts.

You'll inspect and deliver quality products to both internal and external customers, using your understanding of AS9102 FAI requirements as well as ASMEY and ISO standards.

What do you need from me?

To apply, you'll need:
- previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- the ability to implement and follow inspection processes
- to be able to understand and analyse quality issues and determine suitable outcomes
- to be able to demonstrate your understanding of CMM machines, and evaluating output data

What do the shift patterns look like?

You'll follow a regularly rotation shift pattern, covering:

Dayshift

Nightshift

Premium payment 38.5% of salary

Bridging shift

Premium payment % of salary

Weekend shift

Premium payment % of salary
