Statement of Purpose
To support the Administration, HR and Governance functions of the DSAT Services Team.


Apprenticeship summary

  • Salary (National Apprenticeship Wage): £5.28 per hour (Negotiable according to age and experience)


  • Working week: Monday

  • Thursday: 8.30am4.30pm Friday: 8.30am4pm
  • 30minute lunch break
  • Total hours per week: 37
  • Apprenticeship duration: 24 months
  • Possible start date: September 202
  • Apprenticeship level: Business Administration (Level 3)

Key Responsibilities:


1. Communications

  • Make and receive telephone calls on behalf of the Trust, taking and relaying accurate messages, always
maintaining a polite and professional manner.

  • Assist in the management of the Trust's website and social media presence.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

2. Administration

  • Timely and efficient delivery of administrative tasks.
  • Providing high quality administrative support to the DSAT Services team, including note taking,
employee equipment requests, correspondence, and reporting.

  • To undertake basic clerical duties, under the guidance of the Head of Governance and
Compliance, including record keeping, photocopying, filing, data entry.

  • To collect, record, compile, and input data electronically, to maintain comprehensive, up to date
electronic filing and information systems.

  • To provide clerical support to the DSAT Services team, including bulk photocopying and basic
preparation of materials.

  • To carry out any other administrative or clerical procedure, within the responsibility level of the
post, as directed by the Senior Leadership team or Head of Governance and Compliance.


3. Personal Development

  • Working closely with your office mentor to ensure you keep on track with your planned learning
timetable.

  • Ensure that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered of high quality and in
a timely manner.

  • Contribute to the overall values and ethos of the Trust.
  • Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety,
confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

  • Be aware of and support difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
