Sea-Cargo Aberdeen Ltd, provides a wide range of stevedoring, shipping and logistics support services from a modern, integrated facility in the Port of Aberdeen.

With our considerable experience, comprehensive services and facilities, we can offer our customers a total logistics package for activities within the port of Aberdeen on a 24 hour, seven days a week basis.

We are looking for terminal operator to join our experienced team handling warehouse and quayside duties. The applicant will report to the Terminal Foreman.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Loading and unloading of shipping containers
• Lashing and securing of equipment
• Banksman slinger operations, quayside and vessel based
• Take control of small groups of workers, ensuring they are all following instructions.
• Promote safe working and participate in reviewing procedures and risk assessments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid slinger / banksman certification
• Valid counterbalance RTITB forklift certification
• Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of lifting operations
• Clear communicator
• Hard worker with with good attention to detail
• Good communication skills
