Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Courier Customer Executive for a well-established Courier company based in the Colnbrook area.

**Job Purpose:
- **The Customer Service Executive is the first point of contact for Customers and most suppliers. Therefore, it is essential that the customer service Executive can work pro-actively and under pressure. As the main point of contact, the role requires somebody who is confident on the phone and remains calm under pressure. The assistant must have a good basic knowledge of countries and be able to advise on areas such as transit times, collection time and cut offs.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Taking customer bookings
  • Arranging insurance
  • Liaising with service providers
  • Handling customers queries and complaints.
  • Providing quotes
  • Updating PODS and any handling reports
  • Contacting customers for commercial invoices
  • Contacting customers or agents when there is a problem with the collection or delivery.
  • Sending off hardcopy PODS to other WorldNet offices
  • Ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel software
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to listen to others and ask questions.
  • Speaking clearly so listeners can understand.
  • Extensive geographic knowledge
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international travel
Working Monday to Friday (Various shifts throughout the week)

8am to 5pm / 9am to 6pm / 10am to 7pm / 11am to 8pm

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
