Description

The opportunity to work for a successful engineering business within the Daybrook area of Nottinghamshire that is a machinist of components for Aerospace, Defense, Oil & Gas and Medical markets.

Supported by a large Group which has a suite of other business sites within the UK, USA and Asia/Pacific.

Key responsibilities:

1. Deburr and hand finish parts as required by using established procedures, machines and tooling.
Visual inspection of parts to ensure each meets the requirements of the order.
To communicate any issues relating to production, informing of parts not being to tolerance.
Final inspections, working to a high level of quality control to avoid customer dissatisfaction and potential returns.
Work in accordance to the quality system and processes of the department
Support colleagues by assisting with other duties when required, to aid the smooth running of the Company

Additional training will be provided with the role.

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (ideally production-based)

A desire to learn a new skill and develop within a successful company

Contracted Hours - 39 hours

6 a.m. to 2.30 p.m Monday to Thursdsay.

6 a.m. to 1.30 p.m Friday

These hours are flexible.
