Description

We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments and API integration.Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of group and subsidiary financial statements under IFRS
- Organisation and successful completion of the annual group audit and other local periodic audits
- Relationship with key stakeholders such as the regulatory reporting team, country managers and group and local auditors
- Formalization of group accounting policies and procedures
- Integration of new businesses into the group structure and processes
- Support and lead the Belgium team in the utilisation of the secondary GAAP ledger (BE GAAP) and develop controls around the accuracy and maintenance of this data
- IFRS chart of accounts management
Experience Required:
- Accountant with 9+ years of experience in an international environment.
- Big 4 (audit) experience required
- Experience in accounting for FX revenue and derivatives within the financial services sector
- IFRS experience is required, additional GAAP experience is highly valued

- Experience in highly complex intercompany environment, including strategic management of intercompany positions
- Experience in working with multiple currencies, with a deep understanding of FX gains and losses and currency translation
- Experience with accounting systems, experience with Netsuite highly valued
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines, work to tight schedules and provide a fast and efficient turnaround of tasks and problem resolutions
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organisation, across various departments
- Languages: Fluent English, Spanish highly desirable
