Softcat's Bid Centre is responsible for the successful execution of a varied range of Tenders, Bids, ITTs, Proposals, PQQs and Public Sector Frameworks.

Within the team are a variety of skillsets including proposal management, bid writing, stakeholder management, project management, proposal coaching, content creation/management and bid co-ordination.

We are a pivotal, hardworking team, working across the business, seeing an increasing growth demand stimulated by a desire to grow Softcat's Corporate and Public Sector revenue streams.

We have an opportunity for a Junior/Graduate Bid Executive to join our Bid Team.

If you have a passion for creative writing and looking for a lucrative career with the scope to develop professionally, we have the role for you.


As Bid Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting Bid Centre day-to-day operations (inbox monitoring, query resolution).
  • Completing selection questionnaires, to internal and external deadlines.
  • Document collation to ensure compliance to proposal requirements.
  • Working with a variety of stakeholders (sales, technical/product teams, external partners, commercial, legal and delivery teams), to create proposal content.

We'd love you to have

  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility for essential tasks, to support team productivity.
  • Ability to write compelling responses to questions and concisely articulate our value.
  • Ability to proofread content and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interest in technology and desire to learn and develop your understanding.
