We have an exciting opportunity for a
Safe Scouting Administrator to join our amazing team. This role is based in
Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (Hybrid working).


Contract Type:
Full time (35 hours per week)


Term:
Permanent


Salary:
£22,688 per annum Band B, Level 3 (inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

The Safe Scouting Administrator role:

As a
Safe Scouting Administrator,you be supporting the disclosure process, as part of The Scouts' National Vetting Process.


This can involve communicating with Disclosure Authorities as well as working collaboratively with volunteers and colleagues to ensure Safe Scouting.

You will also be providing administrative support to the Safe Scouting team where required. This may include maintaining record systems, calendars and rotas, taking minutes and supporting with meeting agendas.


Key responsibilities as our Safe Scouting Administrator:

  • Provide administrative support to the Safe Scouting Team, including disclosure processes
  • Production of management information
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the monitoring of customer/member satisfaction and to assist in making changes to the service to ensure continuing satisfaction
  • Ensure the maintenance of confidentiality
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Safe Scouting Team Coordinator and/or the Safe
  • Scouting management team commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the job

What we are looking for in our Safe Scouting Administrator:

  • Have experience of working in a fast-paced, confidential environment
  • Experience of using case management systems and bespoke software
