Learning Support Assistant

Looking for a fulfilling and rewarding career in education? A large primary school on the outskirts of High Wycombe is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with SEN children in small groups.

The school is located in a lovely village, offering a picturesqueand peaceful work environment.

Role Responsibilities:

Work closely with SEN children, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging and interactive activities to aid learning.
Monitor and track the progress of individual students, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and selfesteem among students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of each student are met.

Role Requirements:

A passion for working with SEN children, and a desire to help them reach their full potential.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A patient and empathetic nature, with the ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable, but not essential.
