We are currently recruiting Temporary HCAs for our client in Lytchett Matravers.

Working in a friendly, professional retirement home for elderly residents this role requires some knowledge of high dependency and respite care.

The retirement home is situatedon the edge of a village, benefiting from the fresh air and tranquillity of the unspoilt Dorset countryside.

A driving licence would be an advantage as public transport links are limited.

What We Require From You:


  • Ability to write factual and accurate records
  • An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people
  • Ability to promote independence while upholding rights and respect
  • An understanding of GDPR
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a social care setting

Duties May Include:


  • Providing personal care
  • Money Handling
  • Support with accessing the community
  • Assisting with mobility use of hoists and walk aids
  • Monitoring ongoing health conditions
  • Completing daily records
