UNISON Eastern Region is currently seeking a full-time temporary Area Organiser to work with members and branches in the Beds and Herts Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a positive campaigning union and make a difference to people's lives.

About this job:


To be considered for this role, you must have a sound understanding of trade unions and their objectives, as well as a good understanding of UNISON's policies and objectives.

You will also need to have excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both face-to-face and written.


As an Area Organiser, you will be required to travel within the Eastern region and to UNISON Centre in London for meetings/training as required.
