PURCHASING ASSISTANT

HANLEY, STOKE-ON-TRENT

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily management of raw material and packaging purchase orders to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
Analysis and interpretation of MRP information in order to react to changes in demand.
Reporting including SKU, stock and spend management
Updating purchasing and supplier information records
Analysis of vendor performance, including tracking of nonconforming material deliveries
Ensuring quality supply and avoiding supplier dependence
Price List maintenance
Stocktaking both physical and administrative.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

MRP system experience (SAP would be advantageous).
Excellent accuracy, numeracy, and Excel skills.
Previous experience working within procurement environment.
Ability to analyse and interpret data.
