  • Our Lady of the Rosary sits at the heart of our community and has been recognised as 'a wonderful testament of outstanding Catholic education'. Our mission statement is central to all we do and our inclusive and nurturing ethos underpins all aspects of school life. It is a popular and oversubscribed school; it currently has 237 pupils on roll. In our last OFSTED inspection in October 2021, we achieved a good outcome with outstanding elements in Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes. In our latest R.E. inspection in 2018, we were graded Outstanding in all areas.
  • We are looking for an effective, strong and inspirational leader who:
  • has the vision and dedication to take on the role of OLOR's SENCO, motivating all pupils, 'to be the best they can be', promoting a fully inclusive culture.
- has excellent communication and organisational skills and will build close working, respectful partnerships, with families and local agencies.
- will oversee the work of teaching assistants, creating bespoke interventions and learning opportunities, leading staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEND children.
- is determined and resilient and has high expectations for all, willing to engage in all aspects of school life.
- is flexible, a team player and has a good sense of humour.
