ICT Teacher

Qualiteach is currently working with a Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for a qualified ICT Teacher who can start with them after the February Half Term, this will be on a full-time basis and for the full academic year.

You will be responsible for teachingsmall groups of 6-8 students BTEC ICT and GCSE ICT.

All of the students you will be teaching will have been removed from a mainstream school, so some many be working at a lower level than others, so you will need to plan and adapt your lessons to meet individualneeds.

During your lessons you will have 2 Teaching Assistant who will be there to assist the students and help you manage their behaviour.

Therefore, the ideal ICT Teacher for this role will need to have had some previous experience in this setting and havestrong behaviour and classroom management skills.

Pupil Referral Unit

Found in the South London borough of Southwark, this Pupil Referral Unit caters for students aged between 8-18 years who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or a permanent basis.

They currently have 70 students who attend and in theirlast Ofsted in June 2018, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
