Overall, Purpose of the Job


To provide senior vendor control management in support of Group Supply Chain business improvement initiatives and critical /tactical purchase requests made by the business specifically through the cultivation, growth, and sustainability of key partnership/strategic relationships.

Operate in close liaison with the Global Supply Chain Manager and the respective Regional Supply Chain Managers, as well as internal customers, ensuring that due diligence and optimal risk mitigation is achieved throughout all supply chain activities.


Key Activities and Accountabilities:


  • Provide general adhoc support and advice on commercial and contractual matters for the designated vendor group, including but not limited to vendor & contract disputes and warranty claims. Balance disruptive sourcing efforts from the Strategic Sourcing team through the extraction of strategic impact from identified key vendor population.
  • Ensure commercial activities are completed to the highest professional and integrity standards and in accordance with Expro's contracting procedures/processes and controls, whilst ensuring all decisions/commitments are recorded in an auditable manner.
  • Provide management with reports and analysis relating to vendor management activities as required.
  • Develop vendor relationship management strategy for the designated vendor group, monitor performance, develop relationships with key contacts (internally and externally) and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders. Manage relationships developed in a senior level engagement with wide visibility to our stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate the development and placement of contracts/purchasing agreements for the designated vendor group.
  • Support the negotiation and/or renegotiation of new and existing contract rates, terms, rebates etc for the designated vendor group
  • Implement global supply management principals, standards and procedures aligned to the development of the global supply chain function.
  • Develop vendor capacity planning models and overlay with Product Line growth plans to identify vendor development opportunities for the designated vendor group.
  • Develop and maintain vendor management scorecards & risk plans for the designated vendor group as per procedure.
  • Leading the preparation and execution of quarterly and annual business reviews for the designated vendor group, as required by procedure/vendor management plan.
  • Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required, to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with line manager with any concerns
  • Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro's compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest
  • Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as appropriate
  • Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others' safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and nonconformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated, and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations
