We have an exciting opportunity for a BID Co-Ordinator to join one of the UKs leading and most established company in the Engineering and Manufacturing space.


This role would be great for someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as having astounding attention to detail.


Located in Blandford Forum.

Full or Part time Hours Considered.
The main responsibility of this role is ensuring clear and accurate information, to deliver timely quotations and orders received.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the company in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner with customers at all times.
  • Support the sales team to deliver comprehensive and accurate quotations in a timely manner.
  • Organise and check information received from customers and engineering
- identifying and resolving any inconsistencies, errors or omissions found.

  • Create estimate sheets based on information provided by the customer and engineering team.
  • Work with the estimating team to address any issues with information they have received.
  • Support the sales team in having information required to generate full and accurate proposals.
  • Review and typeup amendments identified during the estimation process to ensure straightforward conversion to Bill of Materials (buysheet) in the event of an order received.
  • Followup on estimated cost vs materials budgets spent on projects to inform future quotations and actively support continuous improvement.

Person Specification

  • Administration experience essential
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Technical understanding of assembly drawings and electrical/electronic components an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Able to measure and record information accurately
