Band 5 RMN - Temporary Position:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dedicated team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a temporary position based at the Airedale Mental Health Unit in Steeton, Keighley, West Yorkshire.

As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.

You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for patients within the unit.

The temporary position will begin on 1st March 2024 and end on 2nd March 2024. The shift timings for this role are from 19:30:00 to 08:00:00, ensuring that patients receive round-the-clock care and support.

During your time as a Band 5 RMN, you will be responsible for:

Assessing patients' mental health needs and developing appropriate care plans
Administering medications and providing therapeutic interventions
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions
Providing support and guidance to patients and their families
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of holistic care
Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of patient care

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

Hold a valid nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
Have a minimum of 6 months' experience working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
Demonstrate a sound understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Show a commitment to ongoing professional development
