We are currently partnering with a prestigious retail store, Ali & Sons (Scotland) Limited T/A Londis, renowned for its high-quality product offerings and commitment to exceptional customer service.


We are actively seeking a Shop Supervisor to play a key role in managing the Ali & Sons (Scotland) T/A Londis Shop's operations and delivering outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:

Supervision and Coordination: Lead and guide the sales team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel. Efficiently coordinate tasks to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Work Schedule Management: Develop and monitor work schedules, considering sales and productivity targets. Effectively manage staff shifts and breaks for optimal coverage and store efficiency.

Collaboration with Managers and Departments: Foster collaboration with owner and manager to resolve operational issues and enhance the overall customer experience. Work collectively to improve processes.

Staffing and Resource Planning: Assess staffing needs based on business demands and recommend hiring or training initiatives. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Performance Tracking: Provide regular reports on departmental activities, sales performance, and progress toward targets. Use data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective sales strategies.


Requirements:


  • Proven two years' experience as a supervisor or similar role in a retail or sales environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and departments.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and customer service principles.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
