If you are passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the under 5s, keeping the child at the heart of everything you do and have a real can do solution focused attitude to your practice, then we would love you to join our health visiting teams in Shropshire.


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dedicated Public Health teams delivering universal and targeted support to children under 5 and their families in North Shropshire.

We employ a variety of methods to engage families and meet health needs, which include virtual contacts.

We use RiO electronic record which facilitates home working for staff, allowing for greater flexibility in working and work life balance.

You will therefore need to be a good communicator and work well as part of a team as well as being able to work independently.


All our staff are supported by restorative clinical supervision in order to support the emotional health and wellbeing of our teams.

Our teams also have regular safeguarding supervision, regular team meetings and the use of MST to maintain regular contact with each other.
