A niche opportunity has arisen with our reputable client for an experienced Litigation Paralegal or Fee Earner to join their office in Chorley.

As well as general litigation claims, we have a role which involves Animal Welfare and RSPCA Claims.

The role of a Litigation Paralegal / Litigation Solicitor involves: Assess, prepare and conduct summary prosecutions on behalf of RSPCA.


  • Conduct legal research and provide accurate technical advice.
  • Successfully manage all aspects of the prosecution workflow in accordance with set timeframes and procedural requirements.
  • Adjudicate briefs of evidence to determine whether charges ought to be laid.
  • Provide comprehensive advise, representation for animal rights and conducting private, criminal and civil proceedings.
  • Advising on and enforcing animal welfare standards.
  • At least 23 year's experience within Litigation, preferably within animal welfare/RSPCA claims
  • Possess a strong legal background within litigation law
  • Experience of managing a busy, mixed caseload
  • Experience of case preparation
  • Legal research and legal drafting experience
  • Demonstrates and develops a highquality level of technical experience and knowledge
The successful Litigation Paralegal / Fee Earner will be joining a law firm that is forward-thinking, and highly regarded.


You will be a highly motivated, self-driven professional and will meet with clients, take instructions and offer advice, as well as preparing and dealing with cases from inception to conclusion, taking full responsibility for those matters allocated to you.

Applicants will need to be effective communicators with excellent attention to detail.
