Job Overview:

Axon Moore are working on behalf of one of the North West's fastest growing property firms who are embarking on an extraordinary journey as they continue to development of their finance function to align with the exciting potential this business has.

Collaborating with a high calibre CFO and FC, the Head of Property Accounting will hold an instrumental role in the business, supporting the development of finance team to create best in class processes and procedures.

Our client views this role as integral to the business moving forward, and consequently the successful applicant will be highly visible and a key player in its ongoing success.

The opportunity available will provide scope to join an organisation that coversthe full life cycle of real estate, as well as gaining exposure to other aspects of the business.

Location:
Manchester

Main Duties:

Lead the development of a property/ service charge accounting team (5 direct reports).
Be a key member in the senior finance team, delivering continual development across the full finance remit (c.20 people).
Collaborate with the property and assessment management team to deliver seamless and effective management and onboarding.
Overseeing all aspects of corporate accounting for the Praxis group.
Review monthly and quarterly management accounts and monthly reports.
Responsible for ensuring all sales fees have been raised and settled across the group.
Contribute to a culture of continual performance improvement, including use of software to streamline processes and improve outputs.
Ad hoc tasks.

Person Specification:

ACA/ ACCA or CIMA Qualified.
Experience working within the property sector or asset management.
Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
Advanced Excel skill set.
Excellent communicator with the ability to disseminate financial information to none financial stakeholders.
