Description

With multiple sites, this company have been going for over 20 years and specialise in the renewable energy industry.

With increased government backing and a boom in the industry, they have grown from strength to strength, and are continuing to see ongoingyear on year growth with extensive plans moving forward.

As such they are now looking to take on an additional R&D Engineer to join the team in the Truro area.

To be considered, you'll need:

Degree within an engineering discipline.
Previous engineering experience working autonomously within product development
CAD experience on Solidworks or similar
Good analytical and numerical skills
Ability to read and understand technical datasheets, reports and documents

You'll be responsible for:

Specifying alternative parts to meet designs
Leading Dual Sourcing projects and Engineering change tasks
Working closely with Purchasing and Quality teams to enable continuous development
Producing CAD drawings, documentation, and technical reports
Carrying out mechanical analysis, development and design and development
Liaising with department stakeholders to seek opinions and advice
