Description

We're looking for a Copywriter (8 Months FTC) to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.

Your team:

You will work in close collaboration with all current and future members of the LIONS Marketing team, including the VP of Marketing, Creative Director, Senior Social Media Editor - as well as copywriters, art directors, digital producers, other designers, as well as marketing managers and colleagues in other departments.

Your Role:

You will be a vital member of the creative team - and will work on a wide variety of creative projects from brief to delivery for all our products, awards and events.

You will drive high creative standards and be a brand guardian for the globally known LIONS brand and our portfolio, which includes LIONS Membership, The Work, Advisory, Learning, Cannes Lions, Eurobest, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning briefs from start to completion. Writing and testing work to make sure each brief objective is completed in full, on time, and in line with company/brand standards.
  • Liaise and collaborate with relevant business partners to produce copy and content. Will followup with questions, updates, and edits as needed.
  • Ability to work independently to lead a creative project, while continually sharing progress with stakeholders on the Marketing team and across the business.
  • Ability to thrive in an exciting and busy environment, working for an iconic brand.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and initiative. Motivates and inspires the team around them.
Your Experience

  • Ability to write compelling copy, content and concepts that meet project requirements, brand guidelines and LIONS creative standards.
  • A portfolio of client work for a range of sectors from B2C to B2C.
  • A clear ability to write both longform and shortform content.
  • Experience in the Creative Industry and a keen awareness of the trends, topics and operations within it.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills required; must be able to handle multiple projects and produce a high volume of quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Selfmotivated and able to own creative projects, but still be a team player, comfortable with following direction and receiving feedback as required.
  • Some experience as a writer in the creative industry. Relevant experience working in a team based environment is ideal.
If you don't meet every single requirement, we'd still encourage you to apply.

At LIONS, we are committed to creating a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you are excited about this role we would still like you to apply.
