Secondary Teaching Assistant


Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in your career? We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary school in Bradford to start after the Easter break.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Helping pupils with their learning
  • Supervising group activities
  • Setting up equipment for lessons and keeping classrooms safe and tidy
  • Helping develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
  • Motivating and encouraging pupils
  • Monitoring and recording children's behaviour and progress
  • Helping with school events, trips and activities

To be successful you will:

  • Have two references from an education or care provider
  • The appropriate qualifications and/or training/experience for this role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to relate to pupils from a variety of backgrounds

£75.00-£100.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
